Austin Coglianese

Austin Coglianese's introduction to the world of filmmaking came after watching Raiders of  the Lost Ark (1981) for the first time when he was 8 years old. Noticing that Austin was simultaneously thrilled by the heroic adventures of Indiana Jones and terrified by  the gruesome deaths during both the film's opening scene and climax, Austin's Father proceeded get out his own camera and used it (with some of Austin's action figures) to explain that what Austin just saw wasn't real by showing him some simple camera tricks that movies used to bring the director's imagination to life. From that moment on, Austin's love of movies would continue to grow as he studied classic films while creating his own films casting his brothers and friends or using stop-motion animation to bring his action figures to life.

Since then, Austin Coglianese has continued to pursue his dream of becoming director and screenwriter by studying Media Arts & Science and Film Studies at IUPUI. When he is not watching or making movies or writing screenplays, Austin can be found either reading, playing video games, watching or playing sports, or working on his impression of Arnold Schwarzenegger.
